AIRWAAV now has the AIRWAAV ENDURANCE model designed to provide a more snug fit for athletes wanting to relax their jaw during long distance workouts or races. The AIRWAAV performance mouthpiece fits along your bottom teeth and pushes your jaw just forward enough to create the “optimal airway opening,” resulting in:
Increased endurance — by reducing respiratory rate by 20%, resulting in less lactic acid production
Increased strength — by improving muscular endurance
Faster recovery times — by reducing cortisol build-up by up to 50%

In the last seven days, we've seen Joseph Fahnbulleh execute the first sit-and-kick NCAA 100m final, Abby Steiner go nuclear in the 200, Katelyn Tuohy win her first NCAA title, Yared Nuguse run 3:34 (but not at NCAAs), Noah Lyles run 19.61, Sha'Carri Richardson run 10.85 (and get beat), another high school junior break 4:00, and Jakob Ingebrigtsen run a 3:46 mile.
We're getting down to brass tacks. The 2022 World Championships begin exactly four weeks from today, and those not racing at the moment are rapidly approaching the point of no return (looking your way, Sifan Hassan, Marcell Jacobs, & Karsten Warholm). For those who are racing, it's time to start showing your stuff. We got a taste at NCAAs last weekend and will get another next weekend on the same Hayward Field track at USAs. The season only gets better from here -- and it's been pretty great already.
Jakob Ingebrigsten's 3:46.46 mile -- the fastest in the world since 2001 -- was the highlight as Keely Hodgkinson (1:57.71) won again and Alicia Monson ran 14:31.11 (#3 all-time US) in the 5,000.
Kentucky's Cade Flatt is the second-fastest 800m high schooler ever. Flatt, who is known to wear an MMA type jacket with “FLATT” on the back before races, says that will change tonight when he races at the New Balance Outdoor Nationals in Philly. Then next week, he's stepping up to take on the pros at USA nationals.
Plus Devon Allen runs 12.84, did an obscure NCAA rule cost Notre Dame's Yared Nuguse an NCAA title, and Molly Seideldoesn't run the Mastercard New York Mini 10K.
What a week. The 2022 NCAA championships are in the books and the Joseph Fahnbulleh freight train arrived, Katelyn Tuohy got NCAA title #1, Abby Steiner got some Allyson Felix comparisons - we break it all down.
