The USATF Outdoor Championships are here.

For American track and field fans, this weekend may be the greatest on the annual calendar. Sure there are byes for defending world champions, but for just about everyone else, it's finish in the top 3 or sit at home watching the Worlds on TV.

The meet starts at 7 p.m. Eastern tonight and our TV/viewing guide is here.

The sprints are loaded with tons of compelling story lines, Athing Mu leads the US distance runners, and there are many question marks surrounding the men's distance races, including Donavan Brazier picking up another injury.

Our USATF hub is here.

We cover everything in more detail below, but to make USAs more interesting we really suggest you play in our $200,022 USAs Prediction contest here
AIRWAAV Endurance is Here (Sponsored)
AIRWAAV now has the AIRWAAV ENDURANCE model designed to provide a more snug fit for athletes wanting to relax their jaw during long distance workouts or races. The AIRWAAV performance mouthpiece fits along your bottom teeth and pushes your jaw just forward enough to create the “optimal airway opening,” resulting in:
  • Increased endurance —  by reducing respiratory rate by 20%, resulting in less lactic acid production
  • Increased strength —  by improving muscular endurance
  • Faster recovery times — by reducing cortisol build-up by up to 50%
LetsRun readers can save 10% with the code "LR10".

Non-USAs news
Streleckis was diagnosed with prostate cancer in March but didn't let that stop him from engineering one of the most memorable seasons in prep mile history.
No one has ever broken 27:00 on the roads in the US, but with $53,000 on the line for a course record (current record is 27:01), one might think a Eugene 10,000 competitor might run it 13 days before Worlds.
